Club Rides
The Plymouth County Cyclists sponsors the following two rides each week:
The Thursday Evening Ride is a leisurely group ride around Le Mars usually on the municipal bike path. It’s suitable for all ages and skill levels resulting in lots of fun and recreation for all. Rides begin at 7:00 PM in the parking lot of the Four Brothers Restaurant in Le Mars. CH
The Weekend Rides are longer rides designed for experienced cyclists. The earlier rides in the season are usually in the 10 to 20 mile range. This gives riders a chance to toughen up those leg muscles. As the season progresses the rides lengthen and eventually will exceed 40 miles. The lead biker takes care to conduct rest stops to allow slower riders to catch up.
The weekend rides are held on Saturdays originating at the YMCA parking lot on 12th Street Southwest (Le Mars, IA). You may open the ride schedule link for ride destinations and departure times. CH
